Agent Terms & Conditions — MyEasyAgent Network Last updated: 19 June 2026
1. Eligibility and Verification
To join and remain in the MyEasyAgent network, you must hold at least one of the following valid, current credentials:
- LASRERA License — issued by the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority
- ERCAAN Membership — issued by the Estate Rent and Commission Agents Association of Nigeria (founded 1990)
Either credential alone is sufficient for full active membership. Holding both is strongly encouraged and reflected on your property listings as a dual-verified status. There is no probation period for agents verified under either credential — you are a full network member from the moment your credential is confirmed.
You must provide your credential number and a clear photograph of your license card or membership certificate. We independently verify all credentials against the relevant public register (LASRERA) or by direct confirmation (ERCAAN) before approving your listing.
2. Listing Standards
All property listings submitted through the MyEasyAgent network must be:
- Accurate — the property must exist, be available at the stated price, and match the description provided
- Current — listings must be updated or removed within 48 hours of a property becoming unavailable
- Original — you must have a direct mandate or legitimate authority to market the property
Listings found to contain false pricing, fabricated images, or misleading location descriptions will be removed without notice.
3. Coordination Fee
MyEasyAgent charges a Coordination Fee to clients who request property viewings through our platform. This fee covers verification, agent outreach, availability confirmation, and viewing booking.
The Coordination Fee is paid by the client to MyEasyAgent, not to the agent. It is separate from and in addition to any agency commission, legal fee, or landlord charges.
As a network agent, you must not:
- Request or collect any Coordination Fee on behalf of MyEasyAgent
- Demand additional “viewing fees” or “access fees” from clients introduced through our platform
- Redirect clients to pay you directly for services that are covered by the Coordination Fee
4. Client Introductions
When MyEasyAgent introduces a client to you for a specific property:
- You must be available for the viewing within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 48 hours)
- You must not redirect the client to a different property without the client’s consent and MyEasyAgent’s knowledge
- You must not attempt to bypass MyEasyAgent by soliciting the client directly for future transactions during the initial engagement
5. Suspension and Removal
Your network membership may be suspended or permanently removed if:
- Your LASRERA licence or ERCAAN membership expires or is revoked
- You provide false or misleading property information
- You engage in conduct that harms clients or damages the reputation of the MyEasyAgent network
- You violate any provision of these terms
Suspension is immediate. You will be notified via WhatsApp. A suspended agent’s listings are hidden from the site until the issue is resolved.
6. Liability
MyEasyAgent acts as a coordination platform. We do not guarantee that any viewing will result in a transaction. We are not liable for:
- Disputes between landlords and agents
- Commission payment disputes between co-agents
- Property defects, title issues, or other matters outside our verification scope
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lagos State, Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Lagos State courts.
