How to use MYEASYAGENT
Short steps for each thing you can do here. Pick yours: looking for a home, or an agent with homes to show.
Looking for a home
Find a home
Open Explore
Tap Explore at the bottom of the screen (or the top on a computer), or search from the homepage.
Search and filter
Type an area or street, e.g. Yaba. Tap the filter button to choose rent, buy or lease, the type of home, the area, your budget (you can type 2.5m or 800k), bedrooms and bathrooms. The count updates as you choose.
Check the full cost
Every home shows the yearly rent and the total to move in. Open a home to see each charge, the video tour, and what we checked.
Save the ones you like
Tap the heart. Saved homes stay on this phone, under Saved. Switch to the map to see which areas the homes are in.
Tell us what you need
Can’t find the right home? We look for you, including homes that aren’t on the website yet.
Fill in the short form
Your area, budget, number of bedrooms and anything else that matters.
We check with our agents
Our team searches our network of agents for homes that match.
We message you on WhatsApp
When we find a match, we send you the details. Sending the form is free.
Book a viewing
Seeing the home costs nothing (₦0 inspection fee). We confirm the home is still free before you leave your house, and you pay the Home Check fee only after that.
Request a viewing
On the home’s page, pick one of the free viewing times if it shows any, or tap Request a viewing, or WhatsApp us.
We confirm with the agent
We check the home is still available and can be shown, then agree a time.
Pay the Home Check fee
Only after the agent confirms. It is set by the area the home is in, you’re told the amount before you pay, and it is separate from rent. Pay by bank transfer and send the proof on WhatsApp.
View the home
We send the confirmed date and time, the agent’s name and the exact address on WhatsApp. After the viewing, you and the agent each get a short feedback message.
Contacting the agent, confirming the home is available and can be shown, booking the viewing for you, and following up afterwards. It is not an inspection fee.
Tell us at least 4 hours before the viewing, using Reschedule or Cancel booking on the home’s page. Cancellation rules
Check your agreement (Agreement Clinic)
We read your tenancy agreement against the Lagos Tenancy Law 2011 and explain any problem in plain English. It is a document review, not legal representation; if a lawyer reviewed it, the report says so.
Choose a review
Standard (₦25,000, within 48 hours) or Urgent (₦45,000, the same day).
Pay and upload
Transfer the fee to the bank details on the Agreement Clinic page, then send the form with your agreement attached.
Get your report
A written report on WhatsApp or email. Every clause we flag is explained, so you can negotiate, ask questions, or walk away informed.
Message us on WhatsApp and we can refer you to a lawyer.
For agents
Join our network
If you can show a home in Lagos yourself, you can apply: licensed agents, landlords with free units, and property managers with a mandate. A LASRERA or ERCAAN registration helps, but isn’t required.
Apply
Fill in the agent application: your name, any registration number, the areas you cover and your contact details.
We contact you on WhatsApp
We confirm who you are and that you can show the homes you list.
Get your MYEASYAGENT ID
Once confirmed, you’re on our register and receive your ID. You use it to add homes and to sign in to your agent page.
Every agent agrees to our code of conduct. A first problem brings a formal warning, a second a suspension, and a third removal from the network.
Add a home
Open Submit a property
On your phone or computer. Check your MYEASYAGENT ID, then fill in the home’s details: area, price, every charge, type, bedrooms and bathrooms.
Add photos from your phone
Tap Add photos and take or choose up to 12. They are made smaller on your phone and sent straight away; each one shows Sent.
Add a video
Paste a YouTube link, or after sending the form, send the video to our WhatsApp as a Document (WhatsApp shrinks videos sent the normal way). A 1 to 3 minute walk-through gets more viewings.
We check and publish
Our team checks the details and publishes the home, from any phone or computer. We tell you on WhatsApp when it is live.
Your agent page
Sign in with an emailed code
Type your MYEASYAGENT ID, tap Email me a code, and type the 6 digits from your email. Make sure we have your right email address.
See your bookings and homes
Viewings booked for your homes, and your homes that are live, waiting, or on the website.
Add your free viewing times
Times you add show on the home’s page, so clients can pick one. We still confirm every booking with you.
How agents are paid for viewings
When a client pays the Home Check fee, part of it goes to the agent who shows the home: the Viewing Facilitation Payment.
Why it exists
You are paid for your time showing the home, so there is no reason to charge clients separately for inspections.
Feedback after every viewing
You and the client each get a short WhatsApp message. Answers are confidential and used only to keep standards high and fix problems quickly.
